Feedbacks

The many feedbacks we have received from our valuable participants.

Dear members of the Vimochana Team,

I reached Pune with a bundle of mixed feelings. I consider myself both privileged and pained at the same time, for having attended the unforgettable DoF & the Court on Dowry event in Bangalore. I was happy that I could be with a great team like yours, committed to an issue. Hearing the testimonies is a lifetime experience, constantly reminding oneself of the mountains of work to be done in VaW.

I was enthused and charged by your indomitable spirit and hope. I can’t thank you in words for all that you have given me during my three day stay in Bangalore.

Hoping to be in touch with all of you.

In Solidarity

Dear Corren, Dona, Madhu, Shakun, Kalpana and all at Vimochana

Greetings from Action India.

We have comeback from Courts of Women with a very strong sense of bonding with our sisters. You have given us the opportunity to listen to the pain of women and gain strength & determination to follow through the events beyond banglore to far away places. It enabled us to spread the message of elimination of dowry and non acceptance of violence on women to everyone.

We would like to congratulate the entire team of Vimochana for excellent management of the event which despite its size and enormity endeared us all to your team.Without any hesitation we can say that the program was a huge success and made a tremendous impact on everyone who was a part of it and even beyond. We extend our heartfelt thanks to your team for providing us a never before opportunity to learn from it.

Warm Regards

Dear Teamies,

I am indeed overwhelmed by the integrity, the depth and the
non-intrusiveness of the court; so much meaning to it!

Thank you for making us a part of it and for your enormous and
selfless work. The Jagori/Sangat team were so inspired; Munni, Zubeida
and Bimlesh are keen to share their learning with sisters in the
community.

We salute you and your perseverance in keeping the feminist torch of
the court going for two decades and more!

In solidarity and hope you get your much deserved rest.

Suneeta, Nandini and Savara

My very dear and admirable Vimochana Team,

Once again, I wish to celebrate your creativity and your commitment to
feminist struggles for justice, peace and other principles and goals.

I truely enjoyed being there with all of you. It was VERy good. Every thing
was good and I know how hard it was to put it all together. I wish you more
energy and compassion.

The Jagori Team and I felt fully involved and welcome.

I hope you found our presence useful.

Now rest a bit friends. Look after yourselves.

Love

Kamla Bhasin
